How to feed raw safely
Simply defrost and serve. Cooking is not required. We recommend using a glass container or separate drawer while defrosting as leaking may occur.
What's the shelf life?
Raw food should be kept in the freezer until needed. When frozen it has a shelf life of months. Once defrosted, we recommend it stay in the fridge for no longer than three days.
Do I need to add supplements with your food?
Feeding our food will provide the necessary nutrients that your pet needs. Some pets, however, may require an extra boost of vitamins and minerals depending on various factors. If your pet needs this, we recommend feeding your pet PhytoSynergy
How much should I feed?
The General rule of thumb is to feed between 2-4% of your dogs body weight if they are an adult. However, many conditions apply so we encourage you to use our calculator as a rough guide.

Is raw safe for my puppy?
Yes! It certainly is. If your puppy was raised on kibble, we recommend a slow transition over to raw. Some puppies may require their food to be gently sauteed for a few days while transitioning but ultimately, the goal is a complete raw diet. All of our ridgeback puppies are weaned on our food.
